About Hacksaw Gaming

Who We Are

Hacksaw Gaming was established in 2018 and is headquartered in Msida, Malta. We launched with a focus on digital scratchcards and instant win games before expanding into video slots in 2019 with our first Pocketz Series title, Stick ‘Em. That pivot defined the direction of the company and laid the foundation for the modern portfolio available today.

Over the following years, we built a catalogue that now spans over 250 titles across slots, scratchcards, and instant win formats. Our operator network grew from a handful of early partners to over 3,000 brands across more than 35 regulated markets. In 2025, we listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, raising over 300 million EUR at IPO and marking a significant milestone in our growth as a public company.

We employ over 100 people across offices in Malta and Sweden. Our team includes game designers, mathematicians, engineers, and compliance specialists. Every title we release carries the same standard of technical and regulatory quality regardless of format or theme.

What We Build

We focus on three product categories. Each one reflects a different player’s needs and session format:

• Slots. Our slot catalogue covers formats from compact 4×4 mobile-first Pocketz Series titles to full-scale 6×5 and 7×7 high-volatility releases. Every slot runs on HTML5, loads in any browser without a download, and scales to all screen sizes. Our slots target players who want distinctive mechanics and high win potential rather than off-the-shelf formats;

• Scratchcards. Our scratchcard range blends instant win simplicity with themed content tied to our slot portfolio. Titles like Chaos Crew Scratch and Stack ‘Em Scratch carry the same visual identity as their slot counterparts. Players scratch and win with no session length commitment;

• Instant Win Games. Our Dare2Win series puts players in direct control of the outcome. Titles include Speed Crash, Hi-Lo, Mines, and Plinko. Each one offers a fast, decision-based format distinct from spinning reels or scratching cards.

Our Technology

All Hacksaw Gaming content runs on OpenRGS, our proprietary Remote Gaming Server platform. OpenRGS handles game delivery, RNG execution, regulatory compliance logic, and operator distribution from a single infrastructure layer.

In 2023, we opened OpenRGS to third-party studios under a partnership program. Independent developers build their game clients on a flexible frontend while we handle the backend mechanics, certification, and distribution. Partner studios gain access to our established operator network across 35 regulated markets without building their own distribution infrastructure. Studios currently operating on OpenRGS include Bullshark Games, Backseat Gaming, NowNow Gaming, Kitsune Gaming, and Jinx Gaming.

All titles are independently certified before release. We hold eCOGRA certification for game fairness and ISO 27001 certification for information security. Every game reaches an operator lobby only after completing a full regulatory review and independent RNG testing.
